Encounter started after militants fired ‘indiscriminately’ on security forces in Marhama Sangam

Anantnag Sep 29: Encounter started between militants and joint team of security forces including 3RR, SOG and CRPF in Marhama sangam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. 

Sources told news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service that encounter began after militants fired indiscriminately on security forces in Marhama Sangam Tuesday morning.

According to police sources 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in the area. Exchange of firing going on.
