30 percents teachers found unauthorisedly absent in Karnah

Karnah Feb 26 : Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karah on Wednesday took a surprise visit to various schools in Karnah, Tweetal area of border town in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district and found 30 Percent of the government school teachers absent unauthorizedly.

According to news agency the winter vacations in all government and private school ended on 24 of this month but in frontier Tehsil Karnah 30 percents of government school teachers are yet to join their duties.

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah Dr. Bilal Mohi Ud Din Bhat had conducted a surprise visit to various schools in the area and found over 30 percent teache unauthorizedly absent, SDM told KNS.

He said a list is being prepared of absentee teachers and strict action will be taken against them.
Meanwhile a flying squad for monitoring of attendance in educational institutions was also constituted, he added (KNS).
