MHA, lauds role of police, CRPF for implementing lockdown to contain Covd-19 in JK

Srinagar, Apr 27 (KINS): The Ministry of home affairs has lauded the role of police and Central reserve police forces for implementing the lockdown to stop spread of the deadly covid-19.

Reliable sources told news agency KNS that top official of MHA dealing with the Jammu and Kashmir union territory took stock of the ongoing lockdown situation.

Sources said that the MHA officials took feedback about the enforcement of lockdown especially in the sensitive areas where more cases have been reported.

Sources said that MHA officials also get the feedback on anti-militancy operations, nature of threats faced by the security agencies and the strategy to be adopted for dealing with multiple challenges. “The MHA also got feedback on the issues confronting the common people during the lockdown.” said sources

“Top officials in Home Ministry expressed their gratitude to the security agencies including Jammu and Kashmir police, Central reserve police for maintaining strict lockdown in the union territory,” sources maintained.

The sources said that MHA has also asked the security forces to keep the momentum going against militants. “Strict directions were passed for dealing with the militants as the Home Ministry reiterated zero tolerance for militancy in Kashmir,” sources said. (KINS)
