‘Eid Nimaz can’t be offered at home’: Grand Mufti

Srinagar, May 14: Grand Mufti on Thursday said that “Eid prayer is congregational prayer can’t be offered at home.

News agency quoted Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam as saying that “Eid prayer is congregational prayer can’t be offered at home, he said that he will talk to administration in this regard. “It has to be seen if the administration allows people to offer Eid prayers or not. If it doesn’t, that means people can’t offer Eid prayers even at home. Eid prayers are offered as ‘shukrana’ prayers collectively and this can’t be offered at homes individually,” he said.
