COVID-19 : J-K records another death

Srinagar, May 27 : Kashmir on Wednesday recorded another death due to COVID-19 taking the total toll in Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 25.

Nodal officer GMC Dr. Salim Khan told that a 55 years old male, resident of Fateh Kadal, Srinagar was shifted to CD Hospital Srinagar from SMHS after testing positive and died today at CD Hospital.He died of cardiac arrest.

Head of department Dr Naveed Shah also confirmed to news agency KINS about the fresh death.

With the fatality,So far Srinagar district has highest number of the fatalities—7 and the death toll overall in J&K rose to 25 followed by Anantnag, Baramulla and Kulgam with four deaths each while Budgam and Jammu have two each and one death each has been reported from Bandipora and Udhampur.
