Missing PhD scholar joins Hibz militant outfit : IGP

Srinagar, June 23 (KINS) : Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that the missing PhD scholar had joined Hibz militant outfit group.

IGP talking to media said missing PhD scholar Hilal Ahmad Dar of Bemina Srinagar, who went missing during a trekking expedition has joined Hizb militant ranks.

IGP said this at wrathlaying ceremony of CRPF jawan at RTC Humhama.

Meanwhile Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh said, We have reports that militants (JeM) are again planning to implement IED based incident against the security forces. We are fully alert.

As reported news agency (KINS), Hilal Ahmed Dar a resident of Bemina rinagar, was part of a group of five persons who had gone for trekking to Gangabal lake in Ganderbal district on last week.

While others got back by the last Sunday evening, he went missing.

Family members and relatives had also appealed him to return back home.(KINS)
