India’s daily COVID-19 recoveries exceed new cases for fifth consecutive day: Govt

Srinagar, Sep 24 (KINS): The government on Thursday said that the new recoveries of Covid patients in India have exceeded the new cases for five consecutive days.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry said this has been made possible by focussed, responsive and effective measures of early identification through high and aggressive testing, prompt surveillance and tracking combined with high quality medical care.
As on 24 September at 8 AM, the number of active cases in the country stand at 9,66,382 while those who have discharged are 46,74,987.(KINS)
