Div Com reviews staff position, development scenario in Marwah, Dachhan, Warwan areas of Kishtwar


JAMMU, OCTOBER 11: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the staff position and developmental scenario in Marwah, Warwan and Dachan areas of Kishtwar district here at a high level meeting of officers including Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar and district heads of line departments.
The meeting was attended by senior functionaries of Horticulture, Social Welfare, Education, Agriculture, Animal/ sheep Husbandry, fisheries, PWD, Jal Shakti and other concerned departments, while Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar alongwith other concerned officers participated in the meeting through video conference.
The Divisional Commissioner discussed the overall development requirements of the areas. He was briefed about the status of staff position of various departments in these backward areas.
The Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar informed that most of the departments are operating from district head offices as there is problem of road connectivity to these areas. The meeting was further informed that there is also lack of mobile connectivity in these areas.
The meeting was further informed about the present office accommodations whether they are operating from rented or own buildings, availability of accommodation for the employees as during winter these areas witness heavy snowfall, availability of water, power and other requirements.
The Div Com asked the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar and Heads of various departments to work out a plan and ensure that staff reach these areas for providing better facilities to the general public.
