REASI, JULY 10(KINS): District Youth Services and Sports department Reasi organised a yoga camp here at Dharmari under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav @India75.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Faz lul Haseeb was the chief guest and Tehsildar Dr. Riaz Hussain was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Around 75 persons participated in the yoga camp amid strict adherence to Covid Safety protocols.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest highlighted the health benefits of Yoga Asanas like Surya Namaskar, Parnamasana, Makarasana, Jesticasana, specially for COVID patients having low energy level. He also appealed to the participants to be good towards all human beings, irrespective of Caste, Colour and Creed.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Subash Chander Sharma advised the people to follow Covid Appropriate behaviour to make District Reasi free from this pandemic.
The programme was organised successfully by the venue incharge Block Thuroo, Surinder Sharma along with Sukhvinder Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Akshay Vashisth, Mohd Arif and Mohd. Rafiq.
