EJAC condoles sad demise of sister of veteran trade union leader and former EJAC president, Abdul Qayoom Wani

Srinagar August 12 (KINS): An emergency condolence meeting of Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) was held today at its headquarter in Srinagar under the leadership of its president Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam. In the meeting all the leaders affiliated with EJAC expressed their deepest condolences over the sad demise of sister of veteran trade union leader and former EJAC President Abdul Qayoom Wani.

While expressing his solidarity and sympathies with Wani, President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam said all the employees in general and the EJAC leadership in particular share the grief of Wani and stand by him in this difficult time.
Fayaz Ahmad said that every soul has to taste the cup of death and we have to bow before the will of Almighty Allah.
He paid glowing tributes to the deceased and prayed to Allah to bestow Jannat ul Firdous to the departed soul and grant patience and strength to the family especially to Wani to bear this irreparable loss.
The leaders who attended the condolence meeting are Dr. Manzoor, Mohd. Akbar Khan, Mohd. Altaf Handoo, Showkat Ah. Bhat, Tariq Ah. Sofi, Mir Nazir Ahmad, Muzaffar Ahmad Ganaie, Mushtaq Sopori, Feroz Ahmad Bhat, Mohd. Ismail Shah, Athar Muzaffar Reshi, Molvi Bashir, Shabir Hussain, Riyaz Ahmad Ahanger, Mansoor Ahmad Bhat, Ruksana Akhtar, Abdul Gani Malik and others.
Meanwhile other leaders including Malik Farooq and District Presidents of EJAC who could not attend the meeting offered their condolences telephonically. (KINS)
