Police carries bhung destruction drive in Kulgam

Srinagar , Sept 21 ( KINS ): Continuing its efforts to eradicate menace of drugs from the society, Police in Kulgam have destroyed wild bhung in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kulgam.

A Police team from Police Station Kulgam headed by DySP Hqrs Kulgam along with the officers from Revenue Department, Municipality and members of an NGO HOPE foundation Kulgam destroyed wild bung spread on vast area of land in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kulgam.  General public of the area have appreciated the action of Police and have urged to continue such drive in nearby areas also.

Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
