KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 09 ( KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review submission of nominations for J&K Government Awards on the eve of Republic Day-2021.
The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding the procedure for nomination of persons for J&K Government awards.
It was informed in the meeting that nominations of persons can be made on the basis of their outstanding performance in various fields including Bravery, Literature, Arts, Arts and Crafts, Social Reforms and empowerment, meritorious public service, besides, outstanding sports persons, media persons, environmentalists and outstanding Industrial entrepreneurship.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to identify and nominate such persons who have registered unbiased and outstanding performance which had a positive impact on the society. He directed the officers for timely submission of the nominations for awards for further course of action.
SSP Kupwara, ADC Kupwara, ACR, SDM Lolab, CMO and Officers from concerned offices attended the meeting.( KINS)
