Srinagar, Oct 12 (KINS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday attached a residential property in Danihama, Hazratbal, Srinagar, in connection with an alleged cross-border Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror conspiracy.
According to the NIA, the property belongs to accused Ghulam Mohammad Mir alias Mama Gas and was allegedly used to shelter Pakistani terrorists and conceal incriminating material. The attachment was carried out under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act following approval from the agency’s Director General.
The agency said a search of the premises on April 6 led to the detection of two suspected Pakistani terrorists, identified as Abu Huraira and Khubaib, along with explosive-like substances, digital devices and other incriminating material.
The NIA said its investigation into the alleged terror network, involving local overground workers and Pakistan-based LeT handlers, is continuing.(KINS)
