Surge in COVID-19 Cases: MVD Bla conducts Massive Traffic Checking

BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 09 ( KINS): In view of surge in COVID-19 cases from the past few days in district Baramulla, the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Baramulla today conducted a massive Traffic Checking on different locations on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway to review the implementation of SOPs and guidelines necessary for averting any kind of exigency.

The inspection was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Regional Transport officer Baramulla, Mubashir Jan.

During the drive several persons involved in violation of SOPs were penalized on the spot.

Meanwhile, the ARTO has emphasized upon the concerned stakeholders more especially transporters to use face masks and do not allow any passenger to travel in their Vehicles without wearing Facemasks.( KINS)
