Srinagar, Nov 10 (KINS) National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Wednesday hosted the first edition of ‘TEDxPoloView’ in the campus with the aim to inspire the students to accelerate in their careers.
Director NIT Srinagar, Prof Rakesh Sehgal said such events inspire the students to accelerate in their careers, fields and are important for their all-round development.
He also expressed gratitude to the TEDxPoloView team for choosing NIT Srinagar as their knowledge partner.
Sehgal appreciated the Head Training & Placement Department, Dr. Obbu Chandra, and his entire team for making the event a grand success.
The first talk was delivered by Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on “Success is about Problem Solving”.
She said, her inspiring story and stated that goals can be achieved through hard work, dedication, and commitment. There is no shortcut to success, . Sehrish added.
Several known dignitaries of Kashmir valley shared their experience during the TEDx talk event.
Dr Obbu Chandra Sekhar, Head Training and Placement Department NIT Srinagar was the chief coordinator of the event, while Prof Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir was the Chief Guest.(KINS)
