Srinagar, Dec 10: Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina chaired a crucial meeting in Srinagar, emphasizing that the Supreme Court’s forthcoming verdict on Article 370 will be respected by all party members. Sources reveal Raina urged leaders to refrain from speaking to the media irresponsibly and advised against any celebratory actions, irrespective of the verdict. The party high command had reportedly issued these directives in anticipation of the Supreme Court’s decision on the constitutionality of scrapping special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370. The 5-judge constitution bench, led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, is set to announce the verdict after reserving it on September 05 following a 16-day hearing.
