Even in Jammu, traditionally associated with milder temperatures, a slight decrease is noted as the thermometer records 6.7°C compared to the previous night’s 7.1°C. The forecast indicates dry and cold weather persisting in most places of J&K until December 21, with the possibility of very light snow at isolated higher reaches on the night of December 16. Shallow to moderate fog is expected to continue in many places of the Kashmir division.
