Srinagar: Former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday trained all guns at BJP leader Ram Madhav over his comments that the alliance being formed to stake claims on government in J&K was being done at the behest of Pakistan.

“It’s unfortunate that a senior BJP leader has said we have got instructions from Pakistan.I challenge Ram Madhav  & his associates to prove this with evidence,” Abdullah said.

“You are disrespecting sacrifices of my colleagues who refused to dance at Pakistan’s instructions and died,” said Abdullah

Abdullah was speaking at a presser at a local hotel here.

On the grand alliance formed by NC, PDP and Congress he said that it was decided to defend the cases at top court of India following which the Chief Minister would resign and dissolve the assembly.

“The decision to form the government was not aimed for power but to defend cases at SC, ” he said.
