Four weapons go missing from ex MLCs official residence in Srinagar

 

Srinagar, Dec 30 (GNS): Four weapons have gone missing from a residence of former MLC Muzaffar Parray at Jawaharnagar area of Srinagar city in Central Kashmir.

Official sources told GNS that four AK-47 rifles have gone missing from the guard room of the former legislators official residence at J-13 Govt Quarters Jawaharnagar.

“We are investigating as to how these weapons went missing,” SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray told GNS.

Meanwhile, official sources told GNS that all the four policemen, three are from security wing and another from District Police Sopore posted at the MLCs residence have been summoned for questioned for questioning while the authorities have also ordered an enquiry to ascertain the incident.

Sources said that the former MLC is out of state since last one month. (GNS)
