Shop owner ‘duped’ by non-local barber, flees away without paying rent

Srinagar, Jan 04 (KNS): A non-local who was running a barber shop in Lasjan area of Srinagar outskirts has fled away without even paying rent of the shops, an owner of the shop said.
The owner of the shop, Muhammad Yasin Matoo told KNS that Sarfaraz Ahmed, a non-local was running a barber Shop namely A1 in Shalina near New bypass road Lasjan from past 10 months, saying that he has fled away last week without paying rent for shop and building.
He added that besides not paying rent of shop and building, he has allegedly taken money from people, saying that “his main intention was to run away. He was here along with two other people, wife and two children.”
He has cheated many people in the area, the owner said, appealing people not to entertain this person. (KNS)
