Bandipora-Gurez road reopened for traffic

Bandipora, 10 Jan: The Bandipora-Gurez road was on thursday reopened for traffic after remaining closed for eight days due to heavy snowfall.

The 84-km long Bandipora-Gurez road was closed for traffic on Friday after the area including Razdan Paas witnessed heavy snowfall.

On twitter, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary wrote: “Gurez road has been opened.Traffic allowed. Anti-skid chain mandatory. Vehicles moved in groups.”
