January 12 : A soldier allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside the camp in south Kashmir’s Kulgam on Saturday.
The army man of 34 RR , posted at Kulgam, shot himself while on duty in the wee hours. He was rushed to a military hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased soldier identified as Abisheg Kumar NO 15728625 of 34RR camp Behibagh.
Meanwhile police took cognizance of this incident.
