Police Recovered 74 Bags Of Govt Rice & 2 Bags Of Atta Flour Meant For Black Marketing In Srinagar, One Person Arrested

 

Police in a statement today said that Police post Bemina on 15.01.19 recieved information through reliable sources that one person namely Bilal Ahmad Nath R/o Bilal Colony Bemina is selling rice (govt supply) after repacking the same in fake Apple Brand bags.

On recieving this information SDPO West Srinagar Shri Musadiq Majid Basu-KPS & Incharge Police Post Bemina Shri Manan Ahmad raided the said place & arrested One person namely Bilal Ahmad Nath r/o Bilal Colony Bemina and seized 74 bags of rice (govt supply) & 02 bags of atta flour,said person was repacking the govt supply rice in fake Apple Brand bags and selling the same as Apple Brand by cheating the people.
In this connection FIR No 13/2019 P/S Parimpora u/s 409,420,120b RPC was registered & investigation taken up.
