Srinagar, August 11 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved ₹5.78 crore for the comprehensive restoration and preservation of the historic ‘Lah Wali Bowli’ in Rajouri, the Office of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said.
The conservation project will focus on restoring the stepwell’s architectural features while preserving its historical and cultural significance.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the initiative is aimed at protecting Rajouri’s local cultural heritage and creating new opportunities for tourism development in the district.(KINS)
