Address demands of NHM employees: PDP urges Governor

Srinagar, Feb 13 : Urging the Governor to address demands of NHM employees, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Spokesperson Rafi Ahmad Mir said that more than 8000 employees have been rendering selfless services, government must address their demands.
Rafi Ahmad Mir said that earlier the issue of NHM employees was addressed on assurance of the PDP led government, however with fall of Government Issue stands pending.
Mir said that NHM employees even during strike days have rendered exemplary services in far flung areas like Gurez, to serve public, government cannot brush them aside.
“They are respectable citizens who are working day and night to serve public, how can government turn deaf ear to their genuine demands of financial and social security”, Mir said. He said that PDP stands in solidarity with the NHM employees and we urge the Governor to address their issues without delaying the matter.
