Governor greets people on Navratras and Navreh

Jammu, April 5 : Governor Satya Pal Malik has conveyed his greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Navratras and Navreh, and prayed for their well-being and prosperity.

In his message, Governor observed that the Navratras have a special importance for the lakhs of pilgrims who visit the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji during this holy period to seek blessings of the goddess.

Governor has extended warm greetings to all Kashmiri Pandits who celebrate this auspicious day as Navreh, the beginning of the New Year and the onset of Spring. He prayed that this propitious occasion will become the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity, peace, progress and prosperity in the State. (GNS)
