Yellow-Throated marten presence creates panic in Awoora Kupwara

 

Srinagar, May 4 : Presence a Yellow-Throated marten created panic at Mir Muqam area of Awoora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday afternoon.

The animal was spotted by people this afternoon which created panic among them. The people caught the animal and in the mean time called wildlife and police authorities who rushed to the spot and recovered it.

Ghulam Mohidin, a wildlife official told that the animal is widely found in jungles and does not harm humans.

He said that the animal would be released back into the jungle. (GNS)
