Ambulance row : protest in Kishtwar against hospital authorities

Large number of people protested against Hospital Authority Kishtwar and the District Administration for not providing timely Ambulance to a critically injured minor which resulted into his death.

A 17 year old boy Saqib Hussain son of Abdul Gani of Marwah was injured early morning on Tuesday after which he was admitted in District hospital Kishtwar, from where doctors shifted him to Jammu.

The Family speaking to our correspondent alleged that due to Non-availability of critical care Ambulance the boy couldn’t be shifted to Jammu which resulted to his death.

The Family alleged that the blood bank in-charge refused to provide blood despite availability.

Former legislator FirdousTak reached the spot alleged that despite repeated incidents of negligence the authorities have failed to put a system in place to save precious lives.

A Police official upon being contacted said that Police has arrested the blood bank in-charge assuring that an FIR would be lodged against the accused officials for causing death due to negligence.

The former legislator personally accompanied the body to Marwah.
