DGP sanctions retirement gift in favour of 85 personnel

JAMMU: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has sanctioned retirement gift of rupees sixty three lakh seventy-five thousand in favour of 85 Police personnel of J&K Police personnel who are retiring from service today on their superannuation/voluntarily retirement.

Order has been issued for grant of retirement gift in favour of three Gazetted Officers, fifty-five Non-Gazetted officers, twenty lower subordinates and seven followers. These personnel belonged to different units and wings of the department.

Under this order the gift amount at a uniform rate of rupees Seventy-five thousand each has been sanctioned out of Contributory Police Welfare Fund on their superannuation or voluntarily retirement.

Retirement gift of rupees seventy five thousand is sanctioned to each Police personnel as a token of appreciation for his/her services rendered to the department.

Pertinent to mention here that in the current year till today PHQ has sanctioned more than rupees seven crores as a retirement gift in favour of over one thousand Police personnel who retired from their services.
