J&K High Court invites applications for vacant posts

Besides UT’s of J&K, Ladakh, Candidates across the country are eligible to apply

Srinagar Dec 30: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday has announced recruitment on 33 vacancies that comes under non-gazetted categories. Total number of vacancies available is 33 and the applicants have been directed to submit their application forms by January 31st, 2020 via offline.

According to news agency the academic qualification for most of the vacancies is graduation from any recognized university of the country. The notification issued in this regard has mentioned that for the post of Electrician, the applicant must have passed 10+2 and for Driver post, the applicant must have passed Middle School with a valid Driving License.

The notification further stated that the applicant must be within the age limit of 18 to 40 in case of unreserved category candidates and those in government service/ contractual employees. The upper age limit has been fixed as 43 years for SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC candidates. The upper age limit is 42 years in case of physically challenged candidates and 48 years for Ex-servicemen.

As per the notification, applicants would need to submit a Bank Draft of rupees 350 drawn in favor of the Registrar General High Court of Jammu and Kashmir. It said, candidate can submit the application forms to the concerned Principal District Judges of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and Union Territory of Ladakh within whose jurisdiction the applicant resides.

It is pertinent to mention this is the first recruitment in J&K, where applicants from other states of India are also eligible to apply. Applicants who do not belong to UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh can submit their application to the Registrar General, Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Jammu. The said recruitment process is the first announced in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and UT of Ladakh after central government abrogated Article 370.(JKNS)
