7 days on, CASO continues in Rajouri villages

Forces fire some shots after finding traces of militants

Srinagar, Jan 06 : The Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) that was jointly by forces and police continued for the seventh straight day in Rajouri village. However, reports said that the presence of militants was spotted in this morning following which some shots were fired by the forces.

According to the wire service—the search operation was launched in Mangal and Drat villages of Rajouri district in Jammu region  a few days back following which exchange of fire took place, leaving to Army men dead.

The search operation was later intensified in Dabar Potha village, adjacent village of Drat where Choppers were pressed in to trace the militants.

Nonetheless, the search operation continued for the seventh straight day on Monday. Reports said that the search has been further intensified after traces of militants were found in the area. (KNO)
