Kashmir issue has a strong external dimension in UN :Soz

Srinagar, Jan 29 : Senior Congress leader and former union minister Professor Saif U Din Soz on Wednesday said “he then Army Chief General Sundarji had once written a book titled – ‘Blind Men of Hindustan’.

He said he would like to use the same title for those who don’t like to take notice of the fault lines in the Constitutional relationship of Kashmir with the Union of India!

Since Kashmir dispute continues to be on the UN Agenda, it (Kashmir Dispute) has a strong external dimension and, it is why American Senators and legislators, the world over, including German Parliamentarians, find it necessary to discuss issues like abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India!

When Kapil Sibal, Senior Congress leader and Sr. Advocate of Supreme Court says that this Govt. has internationalized Kashmir issue, he is only emphasizing that the present Govt. at Delhi is blind to the fact that Kashmir issue has a strong External Dimension!

The present dispensation at the Centre is so blind to the dimensions of the Kashmir Dispute that it doesn’t even know it committed a nasty Hara-Kiri by jailing the entire Mainstream Leadership in Kashmir and now sought ‘Vicarious pleasure’ by removing the title “Sher-e-Kashmir”.

The consequences of this TOMFOOLERY are going to surface sooner than certain short-sighted so-called leaders of the envisaged Third Front can imagine.
