GANDERBAL:March 08: To eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, District Police Ganderbal continues its efforts to curb this evil and initially a Drive against drug peddlers was initiated by SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS, another drug peddler apprehended by Police Party from Police Station Safapora headed by SHO P/S Safapora SI Sajad Khanday.
Acting on specific information that one person namely Jaffar Ahmad S/O Khursheed Ahmad Bhat R/O Kaloosa Bandipora is heading for delivering consignment of drugs has been apprehended near Gulab Sheikh crossing Safapora, while as during intervention 448V SPASMO-PROXYON capsules containing TRAMADOL HYDROCHLORIDE were recovered from his possession. and the contraband substances were seized on spot.
In this regard case FIR No. 05/2020 under section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Safapora and investigation taken up.
