March 18: Based on a credible input, Awantipora Police with the assistance of 42RR and CRPF busted a militant hideout of proscribed terror outfit JeM in Buchoo/Kamala forests area of Awantipora.
Police have recovered incriminating materials including explosive materials from the hideout.
A case FIR No.20/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Tral in this regard.
The incriminating materials recovered have been seized by the police and taken into case records for the purpose of investigation.
Officers from the local police station are investigating the matter.
