Srinagar, May 13 (KINS) : Professor Shakil Ahmad Ramshoo Department of Earth Sciences has been appointed as new Dean Research of Kashmir University.
As per an order issued by the Kashmir University accessed by news agency KINS, Zaffar Ahmad Department of Botany shall complete his term of three years as Dean Research.
“Professor Shakil Ahmad Ramshoo Department of Earth Sciences has been nominated by vice chancellor to function as Dean Research for a period of three years from May 13, 2020,” the order reads.
Professor Ramshoo has research interests including in Hydrology, Glaciology, Geoinformatics and Climate Change.
Similarly Professor Bashir Ahmad Khan, Department of History has been appointed as Dean School of Social Sciences for a period of three years.
While Professor Shamim Ahmad Shah Department of Geography and Regional Development has been appointed as Dean School of Earth and Environmental Science for a period of three years.(KINS)
