DM reviews status of ‘SWASTHA NIDHI and AROGYA SETHU’

Fixes time line for completion for COVID- 19 Survey

Srinagar, May 31 (KINS): The District Magistrate (DM) Anantnag , Mr. Kuldeep Kishan Sidha today convened a meeting of  officers of RDD, Health, urban development and education to review the status of  COVID 19 health audit, “SWASTHA NIDHI and AROGIYA SETHU” of Anantnag district.

It was informed in the meeting that COVID-19 survey of 1,25,418 households with population of 6,89,534 has been covered.

DM stressed health authorities to monitor the input of the survey in the field and expressed dismay over the poor performance on AROGIYA SETHU application by the concerned authorities.

DM directed to ensure 75% coverage by Tuesday 2nd June 2020 by the concerned departments as out of the total population of 10.70 lakh of the district, 37000 persons are using it for better monitoring and surveillance of COVID-19.(KINS)
