Police solve ATM stolen case in Kulgam, arrests four persons

Srinagar, June 27(KINS): Police on Saturday claimed to have solved ATM stolen case in south Kashmir’s Kulgam and arrested four persons in this regard.


Station House Officer Kulgam Irshad Reshi told Kashmir Indepth news Service(KINS)that an ATM stolen case has been solved by arresting four persons who were behind this incident.


He said stolen 8 lakh money was also recovered from them, however the amount 20800 is missing for which investigation is on. The officer identified all accused as Liyakat Ahmad Shiekh son Mohammad Akbar Shiekh ,Umar Akbar Shiekh son of Mohammad Akbar Shiekh,Yawar Ahmad Lone son of Mubarak Ahmad Lone all residents of Khasipora Shopian and Junaid Bashir Bhat son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat of Nunmai Yaripora.


The officer said that a case FIR number 121/2020 U/S 457, 380 IPC has already registered at police station Kulgam and further investigation into this case is on. Besides stolen cash, one load carried vehicle was also seized from their procession officer added. (KINS)
