SRINAGAR SEPTEMBER 29: Principal Secretary, Skill Development, Dr. Asgar Samoon, today convened a meeting of officers of Skill Development Department and other Line Departments regarding establishment of Farm ITIs at ITI Khuri Batpora, Kulgam and R S Pura Jammu.
Director Skill Development briefed the Principal Secretary about various courses in the agriculture sector proposed for introduction at both the Farm ITIs.
Principal Secretary asked the officials of Skill Development to start the proposed short term and long term courses proposed in the first phase during the current Financial year from the month of November,2020. He also asked the Director Skill Development and Director Finance, Skill Development Department to keep budgetary provision for introduction of the proposed farm related courses in the revised Budget 2020-21 and the Budget estimates of 2021-22 in the CAPEX Budget.
