DC Shopian reviews arrangements for Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) Examination


Srinagar, Nov 04 (KINS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin today chaired a meeting to finalize arrangements for smooth conduct of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) examination in the district.
The meeting was informed that the examination is scheduled for 10th November 2020 and in this connection 7 examination centers have been identified in the district.
It was also informed that all the arrangements have been made and HOD’s of Colleges, Professors and District officers have been assigned the duties.
It was further given out that 2300 candidates are appearing in the said examination and invigilators, observers, superintendents and Deputy Superintendents have also been nominated for each center.
The meeting also reviewed the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of (10th & 12th) class Board examinations from the month of November 2020.
On the occasion, the DC directed the officers to ensure that all required arrangements are put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations besides restrictions under section 144 shall also remain in place around the examination centers.
The meeting was directed to strictly follow COVID-19 related advisories and SOP’s including availability of hand sanitizers and ensuring social distancing at all the examination centers besides thermal checkup of students and the staff.
The DC directed the CMO, Shopian to keep available hand sanitizers and masks at each examination centers. He also directed Executive Officer Municipal Committee Shopian for Fumigation of each center before commencing of the examinations.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Sheikh Ab. Aziz, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police and several other officers attended the meeting.(KINS)
