Awantipora Police distributes Covid-19 safety kits among poor and needy people in Tral’
Srinagar Dec 14 (KINS): Continuing its efforts to reach out the poor and needy people, police in Awantipora distributed COVID-19 safety kits among them under civic action programme in third phase, a police spokesperson in a statement to news agency KINS said.
The statement says it is pertinent to mention here that in 1st phase 232 COVID-19 containment kits were distributed at Police Station Khrew and Pampore and in 2nd phase 117 Covid-19 Kits were distributed at Police station Awantipora. Today in 3rd phase, 117 Covid-19 safety kits were distributed at Police Station Tral.
“SHO PS Tral Ghulam Mohammad Rather held the distribution function at Police Station Tral. Each Covid-19 safety kit contains 01 steam vaporizer, 02 face shield, 100 surgical masks, 01 Oximeter, 01 digital Thermometer, 01 sanitizer bottle (500 ml), 01 Box hand gloves, 01 hand wash and other essential items were distributed among the poor and needy families. On the occasion, SHO PS Tral said that there is a need for sensitizing the society to prevent the needy and poor families from COVID-19. General public of the area have appreciated the role of Awantipora police while tackling pandemic COVID-19 from initial stage till now,” the statement reads. (KINS)
