DC B’pora inspects Snow Clearance operations on Bandipora-Gurez road
Clearance in full swing, road expected to be opened by 1st week of March


Bandipora Feb 17 (KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad inspected the Snow Clearance Operations on 85-Kilometers Bandipora-Gurez road
Dr Owais visited Razdan top, the highest point between Gurez and Bandipora road situated at an altitude of 3300 mtrs and inspected the snow clearance operations.
On the occasion the officers informed the DC that the snow clearance operation is in full swing with the improvement in weather, and only 20 Kms are left for clearance.
The DC directed the officials to expedite the pace of work so that the road is thrown open for traffic at an earliest. It was given out by the concerned officers of BRO that with the present pace of work and subject to fair weather conditions,  Road will be ready for plying of traffic by 1st week of March.
The DC during the visit was accompanied by the officers of Border Roads Organization (BRO) who have been assigned the job of snow clearance on the road. (KINS)
