Covid negative report not older than 48 hrs mandatory for Vaishno Devi pilgrims: Shrine Board

Jammu, Jul 14 (KINS) Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board on Wednesday said that Covid-19 negative report, which is not older than 48 hours, is mandatory for pilgrims reaching Katra in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The devotees who are planning for undertaking the pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine are advised to carry along a valid and verifiable negative rt-PCR report of 48 hours prior from a recognised testing facility for entry into the UT of J&K,” Ramesh Kumar, CEO, Shrine Board tweeted.
On July 10, a total of 24,590 devotees paid obeisance at the cave shrine and on July 11, a total of 19,938 reached Katra to trek 13-kilometre long track.( Source UNI)
