3-Days interactive session for Principals by DSEK concludes

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 20 ( KINS ) : The three Days interactive session for Principals organized by Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) concluded here today.

Almost 150 Principals from across Kashmir participated in three groups on each 17th, 18th and 20th August, 2021.

The interaction was organised on the directions of Lt. Governor of J&K UT, to get connected with the field functionaries for involving stakeholders in face to face interactions.

During the day-long sessions the Principals interacted and discussed various issues pertaining to Educational scenario of Kashmir with Director School Education Kashmir, Dr Tassaduq Hussain.

Threadbare discussions were held on academics as well as administrative aspects of Educational Institutions and on a wide range of issues related to utilization of human resources, teaching learning processes, implementation of NEP 2020 and roadmap ahead etc. The interactive sessions were conducted with special emphasis on the implementation of National Education policy (NEP-20).

On the occasion Dr Hussain said that the department’s main focus must be to implement the policies of the Education Department and to bring about a marked change in Educational scenario of the Division by arranging more such innovative endeavors in addition to existing ones.

He expressed the hope that Principals being school leaders and key stakeholders shall lead the department towards new heights of success.
