DODA, AUGUST 27: Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik today chaired a meeting to review performance of Rural Development Department under the district Capex Plan, Back to Village programme and MGNREGA scheme.
The meeting attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Mohammad Idrees Lone and BDOs took stock of Block Wise progress on estimation, technical sanction, approvals and tendering of the works proposed under each plan.
Direction was passed to all BDOs for timely estimation and seeking of administrative approvals for the pending works. Besides, XEN REW was asked to expedite floating of tenders and allotments for early start of the works and timeline completion to benefit the public.
The progress under B2V3 was reviewed and the Action taken report on the directions of last meeting was sought from all BDOs.
They were directed to give top priority to B2V3 as per the direction of the LG and the works identified by the Gram Panchayats be completed at the earliest.
