GDC Kilam renames after martyred Inspector, M Altaf Dar

KULGAM, NOVEMBER 06 (KINS): Authorities today renamed Government Degree College (GDC) Kilam after Inspector Mohammad Altaf Ahamd Dar, who lost his life while discharging his duty a few years ago.

It was informed that Dar was a resident of Village Zungalpora Kulgam and got martyred in the year 2015.

Meanwhile today a  naming ceremony of the college was organized which was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, SSP Kulgam, GV Sandeep, ADC, ACR, Principal GDC Kilam, Students and college staff besides his Father and relatives also attended college’s naming ceremony.

During this ceremony services, capabilities and professionalism of Mohammad Altaf Dar was recalled. (KINS)
