President Droupadi Murmu to visit JK UT for two days, starting today

Srinagar, Oct 11: President Droupadi Murmu is set for a two-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir beginning today afternoon, as confirmed by Rashtrapati Bhavan.
“Upon her arrival in Srinagar this afternoon, President Murmu will preside over the 20th convocation at the University of Kashmir. Later that day, she will engage with local tribal communities and women from self-help groups at Raj Bhavan,” the officials said.
“Additionally, a civic reception will be held in her honor.
On the following day, October 12, she is scheduled to inaugurate the revamped Parvati Bhavan and a new skywalk at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
