JK Police remembers, pays rich tributes to fallen heroes

Srinagar, Dec 13:The Jammu and Kashmir Police solemnly remembered and paid rich tributes to the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, on this day of reflection, the names of ASI Sonam Dorjay of Nobra Leh Ladakh, HC Naser Ahmed of Niloosa Bijhama, Baramulla, SgCt Ghulam Hassan Shah of Chitay Banday, Bandipora, Ct Abdul Qayoom of Wayil Wadder, Ganderbal, Ct Abdul Hamid of Keran, Kupwara, and SPO Bashir Ahmad Lone of Batengo, Sopore, echoed with gratitude.
Officers,officials gathered to honor these fallen heroes and paid heartfelt condolences and appreciation from the Police force.

“These courageous individuals, who laid down their lives in 1999 and 2001, symbolize the unwavering commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in safeguarding the region. Their memory serves as a source of inspiration and underscores the challenges faced by those dedicated to maintaining peace and security”.

“Their legacy will endure, reminding us of the sacrifices made by those who selflessly serve to protect the community. The Jammu and Kashmir Police reaffirms its commitment to honoring the memory of these heroes and ensuring their sacrifice is never forgotten”.
