Weather Department Kmr Forecasts Dry & Chilly Spell Until January 10, ‘Cloudy Periods and Chance of Light Snow in Elevated Areas’

Srinagar Jan 03: The meteorological department Kashmir forecasts a prolonged spell of dry and cold weather extending until January 10, accompanied by generally cloudy conditions during January 4/5 and 8/9 over the plains. Moreover, there is a possibility of light snowfall over isolated higher reaches during this period.
Residents in the plains are advised to be prepared for cooler temperatures and intermittent cloud cover during the specified days. The weather pattern indicates a subtle shift in atmospheric conditions, creating an environment conducive to the formation of light snowfall in select elevated areas.

In addition to the cold weather, dense fog is expected to persist over the plains of Jammu for the next two days. This may result in cold day conditions, emphasizing the need for caution and appropriate measures, especially during travel.

As citizens navigate these weather conditions, staying updated on the latest forecasts and taking necessary precautions becomes imperative.
