Sopore Police Cracks Down on Drug Smugglers: Trio Booked Under PIT-NDPS Act

Srinagar, May 07: Following a formal detention order, Sopore Police has detained three prominent drug smugglers—Aadil Ashraf Khan, Aaqib Nissar Gojree, and Bashir Ahmad Dar—under the PIT-NDPS Act.
They have been apprehended and are currently being held at Central Jail Kot-Balwal, Jammu.
These individuals, known for their involvement in drug trafficking, have a history of multiple cases against them. Despite previous legal actions, they continued to engage in drug abuse trade, supplying narcotics to the youth of Sopore and neighboring areas.
The decisive action taken by Sopore Police has garnered appreciation from the local community, emphasizing the department’s unwavering commitment to combatting drug-related crimes and ensuring the safety of residents.
