Srinagar, May 28: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) announced that all government and private schools in the summer zone areas of the region will observe summer vacation from June 1 to July 16.
“All government and recognized private schools in the summer zone of Jammu Division shall observe summer vacation from June 1, 2024, to July 16, 2024,” stated an order from the Directorate of Health Services Jammu, a copy of which is available with KINS.
The order also stipulates that teachers must be available for online guidance to students during the vacation period. Any failure by school heads or teaching staff to adhere to this schedule will result in disciplinary action, as per the order.
